Paris: Pere LaChaise Cemetery
dreamcamera: Pere LaChaise is an elaborate cemetery in Paris.  I am not usually one to enjoy the morbid, but this place was amazing.  Walking around visiting the graves was a great way to spend the day, oddly enough.  I took mostly black and white photos, but here are the few color shots I took.    {taken with Nikon FM2, Kodak Ektar 100}

Dazed & Aroused
(This is from my novel, when the lead character goes to Paris. BTW, I love your blog!) It’s 6.30 a.m. and I’m on the Eurostar to Paris trying to get some sleep but the double espresso I had at St. Pancras has just kicked in and the man next to me keeps getting up to go to the bathroom to smoke I assume and so I just look out of the window at passing tower blocks and I notice Tax The Rich written...

letthesunandthemoonshinein asked: Hi,
I'm Marie and I live in Paris.
I really like your pictures and all, but please do not make general statements about French people.
We are all different, and I understand maybe you had a bad waiter or whatever, but it is not the same everywhere.
Have a great day.

Pairs in under 2 days!? (submitted by...
So this summer when I went to Paris I was there for maybe 24-30 hours; I am amazed at how I did it. Here’s how it went: Day 1) Arrived at the Train station in London to take the Eurostar to Paris. By the time we got to Paris, it was maybe 11am. From the train station my family and I took a taxi to our hotel, Hotel du Louvre. Note: This drive counted as viewing the city and becoming...

velvetroomblues asked: I just wanted to say that I love this blog! France is absolutely lovely, and I really hope to live there for some time in the future. One of my favorite things about Paris is that no matter where I went, I found messages of love and peace, whether through signs or graffiti. It's difficult to go anywhere without seeing "Je t'aime!"
