Hellllo, I think your blog is the best! I was just hoping you could give me some perspective on something. I've been to Paris twice now, and I love it, so I was hoping to study abroad there for a year (coming from Canada). But all of the past experiences I've read people say that housing is EXTREMELY difficult to find and that you would need at least 1500 euros for every month that you're staying there. How true is any of that?

It is difficult especially in the summer when everyone - students and professionals alike - is apartment-hunting.
However, you do not need at least 1500€ every month; you’ll need this amount the first time you pay for an apartment (usually, you pay 1 month advance, 1 month deposit, and 1st month’s rent). From then on, you’ll need to pay around 400€-600€ every month for a studio or a small one-bedroom apartment.
Hope this helps!
